Technically this flourless chocolate torte has just a smidge more calories than a traditional “Eat Fit-approved” dessert. But we think it’s every bit of worth it, and just had to share.

Sweeten up your holiday season with Dakota’s delicious torte. Its rich chocolate flavor is perfect to serve at your next family gathering or dinner party.
6 whole eggs
2¼ cup unsweetened baking chocolate
1 cup coconut oil
¾ cup swerve
½ cup water
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup unsweetened baking chocolate
1/3 cup almond milk
1 teaspoon instant coffee
Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
Grease and parchment line bottom of 10’’ round cake pan.
Combine water, salt, and Swerve in a small pot and heat until dissolved. Set aside to cool.
Melt chocolate over a double boil
Using hand held mixer, or transfer over into a stand mixer, beat in coconut oil a little at a time. Next, beat in sweet water solutions. Finally, beat in eggs one at a time.
Transfer batter to pan, place in water bath and bake for approximately 45 minutes.
Place unsweetened baking chocolate, almond milk, and instant coffee in double boiler and heat until smooth using a wooden spoon and stir occasionally.
Place flourless chocolate cake on rack and cover with ganache.
Cool in refrigerator for 1 hour.
Per serving: 190 calories, 20 grams fat, 14 grams saturated fat (nearly all plant-based), 35 milligrams sodium, 12 grams carbohydrate, 4 grams dietary fiber, 0 sugar, 4 grams protein.
